Job Description Summary
An Electrical Engineer learns the practical application of engineering principals on anesthesia machine, achieves expertise in Electrical Engineering, and investigates FPGA platform techniques as part of a team techniques as part of a team. The Lead Electrical Engineer is responsible for leading the design electrical product/subsystem release solutions for anesthesia products; meeting marketing/customer requirements with reliability, manufacturing ability, maintenance and cost consideration.

Roles and Responsibilities
Duties include (but are not limited to):
Engaging in all phases of FPGA/CPLD and SOC Platform design development, including concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, testbench testing, manufacturing introduction and service support.
Designing firmware coding related to FPGA/CPLD chip, define SSDS- Sub-System Design Specification, Pins distribution from Schematics to PCB layout, DFMEA (FBD, P-diagram), debugging, and electrical system functional verification
Revise the design specification, verification plan with design control process and design documentations.
Major in Electrical/Electronics/Automation or relevant Engineering with bachelor or above degree, had 5 or above years working experience.
Experience in FPGA design with VHDL or Verilog, experience on Intel (Altera) or Xilinx FPGA/CPLD and design tools for FPGA simulation and debug such as QuartusII or Vivado Foundation.
Familiar with collaborative workflow of FPGA, DSP, and ARM, especially the I2C/SPI/CAN bus communication.
Experience in analog /digital circuit design, be familiar with multi layers PWB / PWA layout, knows either one of these tools: Mentor /Cadence / OrCAD / AD (Protel), etc.
Basic concept or experience on design documentation including design input and requirement analysis, verification and testing.
Had quality awareness and follow the related product design development working flow.
Basic oral and good reading/writing and English communication.
Familiar with Xilinx MPSOC Zynq serial Chip and IDE development with control system application.
Experience in electronics circuit and system control analysis, electrical safety and EMC- Electro Magnetic Compatibility compliance, acknowledge the product design on reliability.
Positive communication sense and passion for coordination capability in integration activities. Lead tasks to delivery.
Had creative ideas to solve the complicated problems.
Experience on electronics and system design for medical electronics or relative industrial control domain.
