Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing a facility management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements

  • Ensuring that the facility is fully operational with all utilities functioning properly.

  • Monitoring condition of property, facilities and equipment and identify maintenance needs

  • Allocating and managing facility space for maximum efficiency

  • Assisting in planning and monitoring of maintenance and capital improvement projects

  • Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standard

  • Providing reliable infrastructure support for entire production flow

  • Building and implementing high industrial standards for production support activities

  • Managing the regulatory design, construction, system installation and security administration for the Site

  • Managing effectively optimal use of media

  • Implementing best practice processes to increase efficiency

  • Collaborating with Operations and other teams to implement programs to include change management and drive a proactive and positive safety culture

  • Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness

  • Managing and reviewing service contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met

  • Developing crisis management and business continuity plans for the Site

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 5+ years of facility management experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment,

  • Experience managing hazardous waste and other environmental programs

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, also in English

  • Advanced computer skills, primarily with MS Office software programs, i.e., Excel and PowerPoint
