Role Summary:

The Sr Field Services Finance Manager directs all financial activities for the $180MM Field Services P&L within the $400MM GEHNE's Services business.

Essential Responsibilities:

As the Sr Field Services Finance Manager, you will:

  • Serve as the CFO of the P&L, providing proactive and comprehensive financial leadership for the Field Services segment, including: integrity of financial results, productivity, forecasting of operating results, cost analysis, variance analysis to plan

  • Proactively serve as business partner to the P&L GM in the formulation and execution of business strategy, including commercial offerings, vendor management, and incentive programs

  • Lead the development, implementation, and execution of all major business cycles, including GPB, SII, OP, and SRO, effectively communicating convertibility assumptions, challenges, and opportunities

  • Drive controllership across operational team and through variable site finance staff

  • Oversee compliance of commercial and government Time & Materials billings

  • Drive performance improvement initiatives throughout the business (invoicing timeliness, cost reduction, asset management, productivity, etc.)

  • Drive improvements around functional costs, including understanding commercial project and overhead drivers

  • Participate in maintenance of commercial costing assumptions

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance from an accredited university or college

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting with P&L experience

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience performing controllership, planning, and audit responsibilities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including across a field based workforce

  • Strong analytical skills to make timely and accurate recommendations for business decision

  • Strong leadership and team building skills

  • FMP / CAS experience or equivalent

  • Ability to anticipate, identify and resolve complex financial issues

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, and experience with Oracle ERP

  • Managerial experience with positive demonstrated leadership abilities

  • Knowledge of internal controls and accounting experience

  • Experience with planning process / deliverables

  • Six sigma training / understanding or equivalent quality training

  • Ability to assess and evaluate business / financial issues / opportunities
