Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop manufacturing processes for New Product Introduction (NPI), documenting process changes, driving process / fixture improvements, driving lead and cycle time improvements, cost of quality (COQ), and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) actions

  • Assure that all engineering designs and technical data are complete and accurately documented to provide an accurate technical/historical base for future reference and to meet customer / end user requirements

  • Define and control production process including tooling and equipment

  • Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment (Includes Manufacturing Engineers)

  • Applies existing technologies, approaches, methodologies in new combinations to design new products, systems, or processes

  • Viewed internally and externally as a specialist in the discipline and seen as a mentor for the technical team

  • Presents projects plans, technical roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to senior business leaders (EB and SEB) within technical space

  • Communicates solutions across own function and with cross-functional partner organizations


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with at least 5 additional years of experience in Production Process and Equipment; an Associate’s degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Production Process and Equipment; or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 9 years of experience in Production Process and Equipment
