General Electric Scintillator Production Technician in West Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Job Description Summary
GE Healthcare is in need of a Production Technician on our Third Shift to assist in the processing of powder scintillator material (Load/unload furnaces,
product formation and densification), Data Collection, Product Sampling, Analytical testing (Particle Size Analysis & ICP), and Chemical handling (Both liquid and solid). As a production technician, your responsibilities will stretch beyond making daily output targets by being involved with trouble shooting and working with the engineering team.

Ensuring all incoming raw material to the operation have been properly tested and approved before use
Raw material transport and delivery to the reactor system and material handling between the centrifuge and drying processes
Provide evaluation, constructive feedback and leadership in the development of internal and external engineering, manufacturing, or service documentation
Develop and execute training plans as required
Provide strong individual contributions in the context of achieving team goals
Provide technical assistance by telephone or in person to customers, field service personnel, or suppliers
Comply with EHS regulations and policies
Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
Knowledge and understanding of production process and work instructions.
Ability to meet customer site access requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination.
Associates degree (or local equivalent 2 year degree), or a High School diploma (or local equivalent) and 2 or more years technical experience
Proficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical information
Demonstrated ability to work well with limited direction and information
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or Technology related fields
Prior experience in Chemical manufacturing
