Job Description Summary
Provide technical support to improve product quality of the EA Tubes Manufacturing Organization. This position will focus on product quality through data analysis and issue resolution. This person will be responsible for driving product quality projects for a specific portion of the shop and root cause investigation activities into systemic product quality issues. Candidate will leverage process monitoring and control tools to ensure improvements are sustained. This person will also interact with NPI teams and serve as the Manufacturing Program Leader for product changes impacting their area of focus.

Roles and Responsibilities
Execute product quality strategy for defined set of manufacturing processes including improvements to existing technology, development of new technologies, and deployment of process monitoring/control tools.
Drive PSR culture and leadership of key PSR’s within area of focus.
Conduct root cause analysis on product quality issues, identify trends, and create roadmap for addressing largest product quality issues.
Coach the manufacturing engineering organization on the tools and practices required to drive day-to-day improvements in the quality of our processes including implementation of process monitoring and digital tools.
Work with design, manufacturing, and NPI teams to drive changes that will reduce quality issues and result in higher long-term reliability.
Leverage our supplier quality and material resources to make real improvements in the quality of supplied materials.
Work seamlessly with the QA/RA team to improve product quality while meeting our customer, business and regulatory commitments.
Responsible for developing and managing engineering / technology projects. Interfaces with internal/external customers to ensure organization resource allocation is made. Accountable to deliver the scope of work to the original cost estimate. Manages schedule, budget and integration of NPI and/or requisition projects, including influencing the projects to meet customer CTQs and hit tollgate milestones.
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering and 3 years of engineering experience or graduate of GE leadership program. Associates Degree and 5 years’ experience or High School diploma with 7 years of experience in production, engineering or troubleshooting
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Established project management skills.
