Located in Melbourne, FL, the Lead Business Operations Analyst will provide project cost and trend analysis support services to PM and Leadership Staff during development and execution phases of project, as it relates to collecting and reporting of all costs associated with the execution of the scope of work.
Provide project cost budget and trend analysis support services to PM, PD’s, and Leadership during development and execution phases of project.
Generate, collect and report of all costs associated with the execution of the scope of work.
Take an active role in the development of the Project Cost Budgets specifically as it relates to the cost breakdown structure.
Disseminate and obtain commitments to the plan from all associated stakeholders.
Review on-going activities and costs on a timely and continuous basis to identify and mitigate deviations from the approved plans and budgets.
Maintain the budget in a current state and record all approved changes.
Instrumental in identifying changes to the scope of work and ensuring escalation.
Lead monthly/quarterly close activities for projects
Participate/drive Program Reviews & CMRs
Prepare cost benefit analyses as required.
Prepare backlog reports.
Participate in annual/quarterly financial budgeting processes.
Monitor accounts receivable.
Assist in proposal/parse efforts as needed
Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management from an accredited college or university.
Minimum 5 years project or finance related experience
Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite).
Self- starter with high initiative
Ability to work in a team environment
Requires strong planning, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
Requires strong oral & written communication skills
Additional prior related experience in another project management discipline (scheduling, planning, estimating).
Familiarity with Agile S/W Methodology
