Job Description Summary
The Additive Manufacturing Quality Leader will provide strategic and technical leadership to drive Zero Defect Culture and Proactive Quality across the Additive part family. The person in this role will lead the quality organization across sites and partner with leadership to drive continuous improvement.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Strategic
Owner of Zero-Defect Culture and Proactive Quality for the part family
Collaborate with Leadership on Breakthrough Objectives and Top-Level Improvement Priorities
Champion the Lean Transformation in part family Quality operations, providing subject matter expertise on methods and tools such as Problem Solving
Partner with customer teams and directly with customers on quality improvement to enhance the customer experience
Drive advanced quality tool maturation in Repair operations.
Organizational
Lead a decentralized global team of quality professionals.
Work closely with horizontal team in supply chain, programs, product support engineering, customer teams, and extended quality organization.
Lead teams in development in advanced quality in development phases on leading edge additive manufacturing technology.
Coach/mentor team on an ongoing basis.
Operational
Assure performance to Key Performance Indicators in delivered and in process quality.
Drive adherence to NPI tollgates and quality deliverables associates with programs in additive development.
Maintain strong regulatory compliance across sites.
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field
Minimum 10 years of Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related experience
Experienced People Leader
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to travel – 30%
