General Electric Senior Product Support Sourcing Buyer in West Chester, Ohio

Role Summary:The Senior Product Support Sourcing Buyer will be responsible for negotiating aftermarket Product Support Agreements (PSAs) and executions with Controls Suppliers in support of internal and external airline customer expectations. You will negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best contractual outcome for the business and our customers. The role requires a comprehensive in-depth understanding of Aviation sourcing processes, services concepts and policies, and fleet support requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:

In this role you will:

  • Define and manage supplier product support strategy - including the generation and maintenance of PSAs and any associated amendments

  • Lead negotiations on product support agreements with commodity suppliers, establishing terms and conditions which support product line and airline customer expectations

  • Manage financial field recovery

  • Lead GE Aviation financial field recovery plans / negotiations with suppliers

  • Communicate across the direct organization, product lines, and customer support organizations on matters dealing with PSAs, associated contractual arrangements / coverage and strategy

  • Provide product support agreement interpretation and guidance to business stakeholders

  • Identify and deliver value - adding opportunities from the supply chain


  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in Sourcing, Services and / or Fielded Customer Support

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in Commodity Management
