General Electric Senior Finance Manager - Commercial Engines (Aviation) in West Chester, Ohio

Job Description Summary

Responsible for providing financial leadership and controllership support for product line operating activities. Supporting operations on meeting financial targets as well as closing and forecasting analysis.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Managing/reconciling Boeing progress collections & liquidations (for GE90, CF6 & GE9X)including partnering directly with Boeing counterparts

  • Boeing CF6 One-pay monthly billing process

  • Execute & forecast CF6 AD&A payments to customers, including RSP share

  • Collaborate with RSPs on revenue/cost sharing

  • Support sales & operations on spare engine deal analysis

  • Supporting sale & operations with GE9X Boeing pricing negotiations

  • Partner with DT & accounting team on the JDE to Oracle ERP conversion

  • Forecasting (including loading into Hyperion system) and closing activities - supporting weekly financial pulse & bowler reviews, quarterly estimates, budget & strategy planning cycles

  • Provide detailed financial walks with thoughtful variance analysis and identification of risks & opportunities

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
