General Electric LEAP Senior Cost Manager in West Chester, Ohio

Job Description Summary

The LEAP Senior Cost Manager - LEAP Product Operations will be Value Stream owner for setting targets, facilitating ideation, executing projects, & validating cost out across the LEAP product line. In addition, drive standard work within cross functional teams & assist in improving the processes & tools. This position will focus on creating value and in turn driving business performance.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Work with Supply Chain, Sourcing, Engineering, & the extended LEAP leadership team to lead LEAP cost-out efforts

• Own the short & long-term strategy for creating a culture of cost-out

• Lead cost projects & support Hoshin Kanri

• Support PCB & other product line initiatives & processes

• Partner in overcoming business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes and services

• Stay informed of industry and global geopolitical trends that may influence work

• Support Knowledge Sharing across all product lines

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field from an accredited college or university

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Aerospace industry

• Commercial experience & instinct

• Understanding of lean and related areas (VSM, kaizen, standard work, leader standard work, problem solving, Kanban)
