General Electric Ultrasound Handheld Sales Leader in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin

Role Summary:

This individual will lead, mentor and coach to drive growth of the authorized partners to drive financial results, ensure compliance and be accountable for keeping the risk profile within the tolerant level and standards. The Channel Sales Leader will work closely with the Region and P&L commercial leaders, marketing and commercial operations leaders to deliver appropriate and effective channel coverage results for handheld ultrasound.

Essential Responsibilities:

Financial performance

  1. Own and deliver financial performance for the USA Ultrasound Channel Partners that have handheld ultrasound in its covered products

  2. Identify potential target channel partners for handheld ultrasound expansion to expand channel partner portfolio

  3. Create and continuously develop Channel Partner specific business plans and set priorities.

Channel Partner Effectiveness

  1. Analyze markets, segments and companies, and develop in conjunction with region marketing and sales leadership appropriate coverage models for handheld ultrasound

  2. Identify potential Channel Partners: recruit, qualify and facilitate thru appointment process

including gaining necessary approvals/P&L support and eventually contracting with appropriate channel partners

  1. On-board Channel Partner as per checklist and coordinate with respective P&Ls

  2. Train channel partner sales force & coordinate with P&L product certification programs

  3. Apply methodology to evaluate Channel Partner effectiveness

  4. Share leads, manage opportunities and pipeline

  5. Optimize channel partner portfolio for handheld ultrasound; leverage synergies across GEHC

  6. Embrace and implement Channel Partner management best practices

  7. Act as business development coach to grow the Channel Partner capability selling Vscan

  8. Coordinate internal GE resources to support and grow the Channel partner

Compliance and Contracting

  1. Create a culture of highest integrity and compliance within the authorized Channel Partner community for handheld ultrasound

  2. Enforce global compliance standards, collaborate with USCAN dealer compliance manager to perform due diligence activities

  3. Work closely with USA Commercial legal to maintain current and appropriate contracting documentation for the authorized partners

but not limited to GE Healthcare EHS Policies, GE Healthcare Fleet Rules, etc.) and operate

within them to ensure that no company policy or local / Int’l Law is broken.

  1. Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to

ensure ongoing standardization and simplification of the Quality Management System.


  1. Bachelor’s degree or above

  2. At least 5-7 years’ experience in Healthcare related sales or marketing with a strong record of

account management success

  1. Strong business finance and GEHC USA commercial operational knowledge

  2. Successful experience in multi-stakeholder environment

  3. High ethics and integrity

  4. Fluent English

  5. Strong contracts, legal, commercial & negotiation skills

  6. Proven coordination and influencing skills to set and drive an agenda with third parties

  7. Customer focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to internal and external

customer needs

  1. Strong business coaching experience

  2. Ability to build rapport, energize and influence people

  3. Analytical with exceptional ability to assimilate complex data and simplify solutions

  4. Interpersonal flexibility and tolerance

Desired Characteristics:

  1. Strong expertise in local Healthcare Legislation and regulations

  2. Proven success in managing sales channels of multiple products in Healthcare equipment sales

and flow business sales

  1. Direct and/ or indirect leadership experience
