Job Description Summary

Responsible for underwriting new deals in a structured leasing platform. Support business teams in analyzing, closing, and funding of commercial transactions. Responsible for the underwriting process for commercial equipment transactions, from proposal issuance, structuring and pricing, through documentation and funding.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving business growth through the management of underwriting new and complex commercial financing requests. Responsible for deal due diligence, know your customer, negotiation, approval and documentation.

  • Work with commercial team to expedite efficient transaction decisions, documentation, and funding.

  • Participate in customer interviews and due diligence meetings.

  • Work with Capital Markets and outside funding sources on syndication activity.

  • Monitoring of the portfolio through annual reviews and review of customer's financial reports.

  • Research and report on the Healthcare industry, gain knowledge of the market and equipment, and identify trends and opportunities for growth and income.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years experience (or High School diploma/GED and 10 years of experience) in commercial underwriting, auditing or portfolio management.

Desired Characteristics

  • Master's degree in business administration or related field.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
