General Electric LCS Services Marketing Manager in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin

Role Summary:The USCAN LCS Services Marketing Manager leads regional product marketing, management, and growth efforts for the LCS services portfolio and installed base solutions. Identifies opportunities for growth and share gain. Creates a product portfolio strategy including product pricing, positioning, and lifecycle management. Provides input to the new product and solution roadmap development.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing plan for LCS Services portfolio

  • Responsibilities include VOC gathering, marketing strategy development and collaboration, segmentation, targeting and positioning to align messaging, tactics, commercial channel tools and execution for success

  • Employs market research and industry trend analysis, market share and competitive analysis, win/loss tracking and price realization in developing commercial strategy for product portfolio

  • Owns launch plans for new products in the region with appropriate product positioning, segment/region-specific value propositions, pricing and distribution strategies

  • Key contributor to the USCAN Services growth strategy and funding proposals with the goal of achieving profitable growth and market share objectives

  • Collaborates with sales to develop market and revenue forecast for product portfolio

  • Understands customers’ needs, as well as value and benefits sought

  • Prioritizes business opportunities in conjunction with Services leadership

  • Responsible for all demand generation and awareness activities for the imaging services product portfolio including trade shows, customer events, advertising, telemarketing campaigns, promotions, etc.

  • Works with advertising and promotions and public relations to develop and execute marketing communication plans

  • Responsible for capturing and reporting relevant business metrics

  • Develops programs to gather regional evidence of customer success, early adopters, show sites, and references

  • Provides regional input to business cases for product/upgrades that are at concept stage, work horizontally to develop, test and prototype new product ideas

  • Responsible for ensuring the services and equipment sales teams have the right tools and training to sell and manage product configurations and portfolio effectively

  • Ensure compliance with quality systems and regulatory requirements

Quality Specific Goals:

  1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position

  2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

  3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

  4. Responsible for ensuring legal and regulatory approval of all marketing communications prior to external release

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field

  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing, product management or related field

  • Leadership skills to lead teams and shape/lead growth vision and marketing strategy

  • Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills

  • Strong analytical and process skills

  • Ability to travel and willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate needs of customers and sales teams

Desired Characteristics:

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field

  • 7+ years’ experience in marketing, product marketing or related field

  • Marketing experience in market & customer insights, product commercialization and branding

  • Healthcare product/industry acumen with ultrasound product experience

  • Innovation – develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas

  • Influencing skills – ability to motivate individuals and demonstrate organizational influence

  • Based in greater Chicago/Milwaukee area
