Job Description Summary

GE Healthcare is forming a new team under the Digital Selling and Ecommerce organization to drive sustainable and consistent outcomes through projects and programs. Reporting to the Head of Program and Project Management, you will partner with core stakeholders to relentlessly prioritize, measure the outcomes realized, and seek ways to optimize the flow of information to push the right work to completion.

As a Program Manager of Operational Excellence, you will use your digital selling background to structure project plans and frameworks. You will act as a top-level contributor in resolving project strategy, scope and direction balancing quality with speed. You will be responsible for the refinement of our internal processes leveraging current systems and seeking opportunities for improvement. To do this, you will create process maps, dig into the root cause of problems and define recommendations backed by data. You will maintain the integrity of our processes ensuring obstacles are addressed and processes optimized.

Job Description

A successful candidate will have demonstrated a proven track record of:

Program Management

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor program/project plans and integrate/coordinate execution activities

  • Move projects through the lifecycle process by providing direction, delegating, and removing obstacles to get work done

  • Facilitate convergence of functional and technical knowledge

  • Collect and manage program and portfolio information maintaining the accuracy of reporting with consistent updates

  • Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies. Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required

Driving Outcomes

  • Engage with other teams across the company to influence outcomes, build relationships, encourage swift decision making and drive momentum to achieve results

  • Plan and prioritize work to meet commitments that align with the organizational goals

  • Align key stakeholders on OKRs, understand reporting needs, and collect performance metrics to analyze progress and measure outcome realization

  • Provide expertise in problem solving, root cause analysis and development of business cases to drive decision making, including assessing financial and operational impact

Streamlining Processes

  • Be the subject matter expert in our process tools - current and new

  • Own change management activities when implementing new tools or processes including establishing, capturing and reporting on metrics to monitor change progress

  • Maintain governance structures supporting internal processes

  • Leverage current structures to delivery key project and program artifacts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in “STEM” major, and/or business

  • Comfortable in a techno-functional role communicating with engineering teams and strategy reviews

Desired Characteristics

  • 6+ years of professional work experience in portfolio and/or program management, change management, eCommerce, or digital customer experiences; leadership experience preferred

  • Familiar with content management systems - Sitecore

  • Experience with agile, software development processes, and other program & portfolio management methodologies is a plus.

  • Demonstrates knowledge on technical topics, such as caching, APIs, data transfer, scalability, and security
