As the Global Marketing Leader for Automated Breast Ultrasound System (ABUS), you'll be responsible for optimizing commercial performance though development and execution of marketing and launch plans in coordination with Regional Product Marketing; and by aligning market insights with technology trends to assist Product Management in portfolio road mapping, product planning, product positioning and pricing. This position is a key contributor to the SBU strategy, identifies and develops opportunities for growth and market share gain; and leads the global effort to create a strong network of global KOLs, show sites and collaborations.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Utilizing best marketing practices and skills to develop a global marketing plan to grow global orders and share. Ensures regional marketing plans are aligned with the global marketing plan and collaborates with regional marketing on selecting the appropriate marketing mix.

  • Performing clinical and industry trend analysis, market share and competitive analysis, and win/loss tracking to identify product and commercial strategies for growth.

  • Orchestrating research to assess market and customer environments and to discover unmet needs, buying cycles and personas. Identifying customers’ clinical and economic needs, values and desired benefits.

  • Quantifying and prioritizing market opportunity.

  • Working with Region, Product Management, Engineering and Global Design to provide input to innovation and the product development roadmap and to develop, test and prototype new product /commercial ideas.

  • Working with Region to perform installed base analysis and program in order to define programs needed to improve customer loyalty, share of wallet and retention and with Product Management to include these programs on product roadmaps.

  • Building and executing global product launch plan, including value proposition, segmentation / positioning, target pricing, evidence generation, awareness & advocacy strategies, channel strategy and sales enablement (in coordination with Regional Product Marketing).

  • Developing programs that improve the customer experience of the installed base in support of installed base retention.

  • Collaborating with Advertising & Promotion and Communications to develop a communications plan in support of the marketing objective Defining brand, value proposition(s), and competitive positioning claims roadmap for new and existing products

  • Drive USA commercial marketing activities by working with USA marketing functional team.

  • Identifying budget requirements to insure proper execution.

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field

  • 15+ years’ experience in marketing, product marketing or related field

  • Healthcare product/industry acumen

  • Experience in Breast Screening and Diagnosis industry/products, market and product portfolio

  • Prior experience in both global and region product marketing

  • Influencing skills – ability to motivate individuals and demonstrate organizational influence
