This role leads a cross-functional team of LP/PB of functional representatives to: ensure our products are safe and effective; quickly act on customer satisfaction opportunities; proactively act to ensure continuous fulfillment; deliver cost reduction; and continuously improve product quality. This EPO drives the team to deliver product objectives, defines critical interdependencies/deliverables, manage program risks, within budget and on schedule.
Overall responsibility for the installed base health (total quality, fulfillment, regulatory compliance) of Defib and KISS product lines.
Creates and ensures effective and efficient communication across business functions; motivates and energizes the team through leadership
Generates plan to ensure sufficient response to Customer Satisfaction Opportunities (CSOs) in segment
Measures product quality and generates plans to drive continuous improvement
Drives rigor in completing quality system records (CAPAs, investigations, complaints, etc.) on time
Addresses regulatory and supply chain issues proactively to ensure continuous fulfillment and executes on cost reduction opportunities
Works as an equal partner with the Business Team and Program Core Team to deliver quality products on time, within budget and with competitive features
Provides expert guidance and support to the product program organization in various technical/functional aspects of research, engineering, supply chain, and service.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Science or equivalent (defined as High School Diploma/GED and 12 years progressive experience as an engineer or scientist within the appropriate field of study)
8+ years of more progressive responsibility and experience as an engineer or scientist
4+ years experience in project leadership within a manufacturing, development or research environment, including previous leadership of a global and/or virtual team.
Demonstrated ability to build lasting cross-functional relationships, including strong influential and communication skills
Demonstrated understanding/experience with the New Product Introduction (NPI) cycle and cross-functional interdependencies
Masters Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
Knowledge of GE Healthcare engineering tools and processes (PQM, TrackWise, Agile, MyWorkshop, etc.)
Demonstrated experience with NPI ISO and regulatory compliance process, design history file and collaterals are in place and current
Creative problem solver and solution developer when presented with conflicting requirements, business demands and technical risks/issues
Demonstrated skills in proactively identifying, facilitating and driving closure of a product/program actions
Attention to detail and ability work independently toward timely completion of a variety of assignments
Ability to develop unique concepts/solutions for complex products
