The Electrical Engineer position is responsible for designing electrical product/subsystem solutions. As an Electrical Engineer, you will apply practical engineering principles as part of a cross-functional team working on new product development.

Responsibilities include:
Engaging in all phases of new product introduction, including concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, design test, and supplier interfaces
Designing electrical assemblies that utilize digital and analog components
Engaging in design transfer to manufacturing and service focused on test and repair strategies
Identifying and developing new opportunities to leverage common technology initiatives and strategic sourcing objectives in the MIC product line
Ensuring reliability, performance, cost-effectiveness, and delivery of design components and design assemblies
Maintain and build relationships with suppliers of electrical components and subassemblies
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
2 years minimum of experience of working knowledge in any of the following: High-speed digital design, Low-noise analog signal and control system design, AC Power Design, AC/DC converter design and subsystem design
Working knowledge of Mechanical and Thermal aspects of sub-system design and packaging
Desired Characteristics:
Demonstrated technical leadership capability working on a team
Excellent teamwork, coordination and communication skills
Ability to meet aggressive reliability, performance, cost, serviceability, and delivery targets
Working experience with circuit design, simulation, PWB layout, packaging, as well as subsystem design techniques for signal integrity and EMC
Knowledge of UL/ETL/IEC standards and how they apply to designs
Experience with Weibull Analysis and Design For Reliability tools
