Job Description Summary
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
In the Diagnostic Cardiology business, responsible for working with cross functional team members to create, implement, and maintain the overall ‘Software Factory’ for continuous Build, Test, and Deployment of Software Application products. Execute continuous Build, Test, and Deployment of Software Application products in alignment with the Agile development process. Drive continuous improvements in the Software Factory infrastructure for maximizing product quality and productivity of the development team, and minimizing TCO of the Software Factory infrastructure. Participate in ongoing investigation and evaluation of new technologies to support continuous improvements in the Software Factory. Responsible for software verification execution. Execute product verification, including performance/load testing across all tiers of the software architecture stack, and optimal coverage of compatible operating environments. Participate in evaluation, tradeoff analysis, driving PoC and selection of various automation test tools available. Participate in selection of appropriate vendor and resources for automation support. Comply with the Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required. Ensure compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Outputs /Program Deliverables. Lead continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering, and 5 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree experience in a related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering, and 3 years experience in a related occupation is acceptable. The position also requires: 3 years of software & product testing experience; 3 years hands-on experience in implementing test automation for enterprise class software applications; 3 years experience with software testing methodology / processes and software development life cycle; 3 years hands-on experience with Software Dev-Ops tools for continuous build, test, and deployment; 3 years experience with cloud based infrastructure technologies (IaaS/PaaS/VM) for software development; 3 years experience in manual / automated testing methodologies; 3 years experience with software application architectures; 3 years experience in testing in a client server and web based applications; and 3 years experience working with teams and across a global environment.
