General Electric Clinical Leader Ultrasound in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin

Job Description Summary

In this role you will be responsible for clinical development of Primary Care Ultrasound Products. This clinical role is a critical interface between product, commercial marketing and advanced applications to integrate product roadmap requirements. You will work closely within the clinical team, with the Product Managers and with the engineering teams to optimize image quality, execute plans for external clinical evaluations and support in the definition of a clinical strategy for the Primary Care products.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical support, and workflow direction as a catalyst to drive new technologies and workflow for Primary Care products including handheld ultrasound portfolio

  • As a clinical representative, work closely with global cross functional and region teams to evaluate product functions, evaluate features, and test value propositions

  • Expected to maintain up to date knowledge in the field of Ultrasound including broad applications for target customers

  • Develop (clinical) handheld competition intelligence and comparisons to support engineering and the field with insights and potential selling advantages

  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required as well as lead continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

  • ARDMS or relevant scientific or clinical degree, or hospital registrations or equivalent knowledge / experience

  • Experience in Ultrasound technology and clinical understanding, knowledge in the application of medical diagnostic Ultrasound and on Ultrasound anatomy and pathology

  • Minimum 5 years experience in the medical industry; clinical applications or sales experience

  • Experience in communicating scientific data (talks, posters, papers)

Desired Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs while exhibiting exceptional written and oral communication skills.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
