The Staff Technical Product Manager is a strategic and highly visible role within Imaging Software Platform organization. Seen as a thought leader in DevOps paradigm who will define and drive adoption, development, and operation of a global software development eco-system employing state-of-the-art development practices and contemporary technology stack roadmap to enable outstanding software developer experience and delivery of high quality products.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Act as a Thought Leader to identify, design and drive DevOps frameworks and technologies to be used across an extensive and diverse range of products within Imaging organization.

  • Act as a change agent to drive change in the organization, by actively engaging software engineering teams and modality product managers to achieve our DevOps strategy.

  • Analyzes and develops common DevOps roadmap, implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.

  • Demonstrate technical leadership with maturity in balancing scope, timing, and resources.

  • Drives new ways of thinking across Imaging modalities, to improve quality, engineering productivity, responsiveness to feedback, and changing priorities.

  • Finds opportunities for collaboration across Imaging modalities, modality product managers, and IT teams to help identify new opportunities within the organization.

  • Communicate technology strategy in a simple, understandable manner to the business leaders and software engineers.

  • Represents the Imaging DevOps organization in internal technology forums, industry events and provides thought leadership and visionary thinking.

  • Demonstrate the capabilities built by the team as part of System/Solution demos.

  • Resolves issues outside his or her area of responsibility, initiates discussions with peers, and takes action when needed to ensure the success of the product.

  • Demonstrates superior product and industry knowledge and helps the organization gain the competitive edge.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

  • Minimum 7 years of software design & development experience working with cross-functional teams in an industry environment

  • Expertise in modern software development practices, tools and environments including practical usage of Configuration Management systems, Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery tools

  • Experience in building sophisticated and highly automated infrastructures.

  • Experience in object-oriented design (OOD) methodology and mastery of programming languages such as Java or C++ Proven knowledge of the Software development lifecycle in product delivery and maintenance

  • Experience operating in a highly secure environment that conforms to various regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

  • Represents the ‘voice of the developer community’ for defining and building engineering DevOps/Automation solutions.

  • Constantly analyzes industry trends in software development practices, technology stacks and becomes a change agent in driving them across the global software organization.

  • Collaborates with Principal Engineers, Architects & Software Engineers/Developers to understand their evolving requirements and translates them to prioritized backlog for the teams to execute.

  • Demonstrates mastery of the intricacies of interactions and dynamics in Agile teams. Guides the team to adopt Agile, troubleshoots adoption efforts, and guide continuous improvement.

  • Drives elimination of inefficiencies in legacy infrastructure & development practices.

  • Flexible with roles and job duties per business requirements.

  • Hands-on experience with multiple relevant technologies that may include: Java/C++/C, JavaScript , Perl/Python, Code analysis tools (e.g. Coverity, SonarQube), Docker, VMWare, Chef/Puppet tech stacks, software security/vulnerability scanning tools (e.g. Nessus)

  • Experience acting as a Product Owner within Agile development model
