Job Description Summary
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
Work with cross functional teams in GE healthcare services business focused on supply chain for parts and repair to bring technology architecture interconnected with business processes. Create projects and technical design for distribution, fulfillment and logistics business processes and provide internal consulting in industry best practices in these areas. Work with application support team in cases of production issues to support from business technical expertise aspect. Work with oracle center of excellence to enhance and sometimes design warehouse management system, order management, advanced pricing, shipping, inventory and purchasing. Participate in the data domain for technical and business discussions relative to future architecture directions. Assist in the analysis, design and development of roadmaps, design pattern, and implementation based upon current vs. Future state with a cohesive architecture viewpoint. Gather and analyze data, develop architectural requirements at project level. Participate in the data governance council. Support the development data and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses. Research and evaluate emerging data technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities. Effectively monitor and control costs in the organization.
Qualifications / Requirements:
The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or a related field and 4 years of related experience in Architecture, Software, or information technology. The position also requires 4 years of experience with distribution, fulfillment and logistics business processes and industry best practices in these areas; 4 years of experience in oracle ERP supply chain modules; 3 years of experience in PL/SQL programming language and skills like analytical/debug, problem solving, new process recommendation; 3 years of experience in oracle development - APIS, forms, reports etc; Experience in global or multiple countries program implementation; 3 years of experience in operational process production support etc.; 3 Years of experience in software development lifecycle process (SDLC).
