Sr Software Engineer in X-ray Engineering organization is an experienced software engineering role responsible for owning and programming components in X-ray Systems Controls & Image Acquisition Software teams.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work with X-ray product software and own a component, feature or a feature set

  • Apply principles of SDLC, Agile methodologies and Continuous Integration

  • Perform software troubleshooting and investigations of components and features

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development

  • Proven hands-on experience with object-oriented programming languages, primarily C++ Experience working on Linux based platforms

  • Working knowledge in configuration management tools

  • Must be willing to work out of an office located in Waukesha, WI

Desired Characteristics:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent

  • 10+ years of software development experience with C++ Expert in writing code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for a project.

  • Skilled in core data structures and algorithms

  • Strong analytical skills, and experience in software development lifecycle
