As a Sr Director– Digital Platform Systems and Architecture, you’ll lead the engineering team with end to end ownership of System design, advanced technology development and Platform architecture of Edison Health Services, catering to customer outcomes such as safety, efficiency and patient experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

Passionate about developing new systems of care that yield more precision, affordability and accessibility for patients. Proven innovator and healthcare domain expert, with a track record of technical, commercial and operational excellence that creates sustainable, profitable growth across many different situations and geographies. Responsible for managing the work deliverables of the platform/solution, large portfolio of products or multiple components within a platform product.

• Develop the platform strategy, technology vision & program vision backed up by clear roadmap to support GEHC’s strategic business initiatives and imperatives with a focus on clearly defined outcomes

• Leverages his/her engineering skills and broader business understanding to coach and develop the technical leaders that report to them.

• Identify & enable advance emerging capability into product roadmap and evolution

• Provide Program leadership to ensure solutions are built in alignment with industrial cutting-edge principles and standards.

• Partner with product management and engineering teams to deliver differentiated offering.

• Drive functional leadership of the team, including recruitment, team/talent development, skill set improvement, and mentoring.

• Drive the adoption of modern agile software development practices, test automation & Continuous integration

• Instilling a rigorous approach to customer centric development, software quality and platform development

• Collaborate with global locations to ensure consistent strategy of roadmap & deliverables.

• Hands on experience with design and development of APIs, microservices on cloud native stack.

• Establishes the architecture for a technology group to allow for future iteration and feature expansion.

• Works closely with the product development teams to ensure effective system integration following a systems engineering approach.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s in computer engineering, information technology or related field

• 15+ years of experience in Software engineering with minimum 5 years of experience as senior director or equivalent with directors and senior architect

• Experience in leading technical solutions on web and cloud technologies in a senior technical position in the last few years is an advantage

• Experience in leading global engineering teams.

• Strong Possess strong business acumen, competition understanding and customer interface experience. “Outside in” thinking is critical for this role

• Experience leading multiple end to end product life cycles

• Demonstrated strong change management led organizational transformations

• Demonstrated edge in technology through innovation in product development

• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels both at a strategic and a technical level across the function and business.

• Proven track record of providing coaching, feedback, developmental opportunities, etc. to direct/indirect reports within broader team

• Demonstrated supplier interface skills

• Demonstrated ability to deliver results while working on multiple projects simultaneously, balancing resources, timing and quality of outcomes

Desired Characteristics:

• Master’s in Business Management or related field of study

• certifications would be a plus : PMP

• Passionate about driving change and influence across enterprise

• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive operationalization of analytic products and help teams to transform processes through analytics

• Strong ability to communicate deep analytical results in forms that resonate with the business collaborators, highlighting actionable insights

• Entrepreneurial inclination to discover novel opportunities for applying analytical techniques to business/scientific problems across the company

• Continually monitors industry dynamics and market trends, and anticipates how those trends will impact GE's and our customers' profitability.
