Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Deliver on KPI’s around cost out, payment terms, risk, contracts, rationalization, and strategy

  • Lead supplier annual negotiations, RFI/RFP execution and work cross functionally on design change ideas

  • Create and execute category strategy for sub-technologies & supply base working with GEHC Component Engineering.

  • Provide Industry Market Intelligence based on analysis of lead indices.

  • Support quality and fulfillment business needs as they arise

  • Ability to work cross functionally on projects, support NPI’s or other initiatives within the business or across global supply chain

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain Management

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Engineering, Sourcing, Operations or Supply Chain

  • Excellent business/financial acumen, ability to act as business partner through horizontal teams with the abilityto influence and drive change in a collaborative and effective way.

  • Ability to drive long strategic partnerships with suppliers and demonstrated experience in optimizing supplier base performance-Cost, Cash, Strategy, Quality, Fulfillment, and Contract.

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional or geographically dispersed teams.

Desired Characteristics

  • Electronic Component Sourcing or Component Engineering experience.

  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
