Job Description Summary
Software Engineer in X-ray Engineering organization is an experienced software engineering role responsible for owning and programming components in X-ray Systems Controls & Image Acquisition Software teams.

Work with X-ray product software and own a component, feature or a feature set
Apply principles of SDLC, Agile methodologies and Continuous Integration
Seek opportunities to automate and continuously improve software components
Perform software troubleshooting and investigations of components and features
Work on software platform goals for X-Ray hardware abstraction and detector communications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in software development
Proven hands-on experience with object-oriented programming languages, primarily C++ Skilled in core data structures and algorithms
Experience working on Linux based platforms
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
Must be willing to work out of an office located in Waukesha, WI
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
5+ years of software development experience with C++ Python / shell scripting experience
Software Platforming Experience
Medical Device Software Development Experience
Working knowledge in configuration management tools
Strong analytical skills, and experience in software development lifecycle
