The General Imaging Product Manager is a key strategic position responsible for planning, specification and development. They are the GM of their products. This includes managing General Imaging (GI) capabilities across the entire GI leadership product portfolio throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements from all stakeholders, defining the product vision, and working closely with Senior Leadership, Regional leaders and engineering.

Essential Responsibilities :

This leadership role will deliver winning solutions that meet current customer needs and anticipates future trends. They are responsible for championing General Imaging capabilities and increasing the market share for their product portfolio. The individual must be comfortable working closely with development, quality assurance, regulatory, support, service, sales and marketing teams. This includes ensuring that their portfolio supports the company's overall strategy and goals.

The ideal candidate will: • Understand and quantify the market for General Imaging capabilities via market research, market analysis and customer/prospect feedback • Develop and write product specifications/requirements and associated documents for each release of General Imaging capabilities • Be a member of the Product Council team, with the responsibility of maintain the General Imaging capabilities, both software, probes and consoles. recommending feature set vs. cost and timing tradeoffs while ensuring it is consistent with business and product portfolio strategies • Synthesize competitive analysis and ensures that General Imaging capabilities across the product portfolio are competitive in our target markets • Act as a thought leader for General Imaging and represent their vision and roadmaps in public forums such as conferences, standards bodies, industry analyst meetings, etc. • Own General Imaging positioning and messaging for all appropriate stakeholders • Work with Commercial Marketing to create the requisite sales enablement tools, support materials, positioning, and the Value Proposition • Together with the product portfolio clinical lead, manages the MEs and launch/market readiness activities for new software products and version releases • Own all aspects of General Imaging capabilities across their product portfolio – product champion/owner; as well as product life cycle through obsolescence

o Forecasting sales and customer demand

o Business case synthesis, analysis, presentation and justification per product • Track customer satisfaction, meeting expectations and upgrades when necessary • Be responsible for all decisions, documentation, luminary input and feedback for requirements • Formulate General Imaging capabilities SWOT analysis for portfolio

• Foster luminary relationships for development input; hospitals and clinicians • Write follow up reports on products after launch – do they meet customer needs as specified, what improvements needed • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities • Assist Clinical Marketing to train the sales and apps force • Manage product performance (e.g., win/loss analysis) and operational metrics dashboards.

Qualifications/Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/technology or business, MBA a plus • A minimum of 10 years of product management experience for ultrasound devices, or equivalent experience in medical devices • Demonstrated skills in writing requirement specifications • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products in the medical device space or equivalent experience • Have successfully managed product performance (e.g., win/loss analysis) and operational metrics dashboards • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Ability to travel 40% of the time • Must submit application for employment through the GE Career Opportunity System to be considered • Must be 18 years of age or older • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background

Ensure quality policy is understood, implemented and maintained at all levels of the organization. Establish and communicate quality objectives that are measurable and consistent with the quality policy.• Maintain adequate organizational structures and adequate resources of sufficiently trained personnel. • Ensure qualified personnel relative to assigned responsibilities. Ensure appropriate responsibility, independence and authority of all personnel who manage, perform and assess work affecting quality.
