Job Description Summary
You as a Quality Regulatory & Research (QRR) Global Lean Leader is a transformational role driving Lean principles across the QRR (Quality, Regulatory, and Research) Organization by both building Lean expertise/leadership while also taking on helping solve some of GE Healthcare and Quality Regulatory and Research most impactful and challenging problems.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Teach, coach, and mentor leaders at all levels of the QRR organization globally on the principles and application of Lean
Develop standard work the organization will use to implement Lean across QRR complex processes (Daily Management, Standard Work, Flow, etc.) as well as measure adherence to the process
Develop and deliver a Lean training curriculum that will enhance our bench strength of Kaizen Leaders
Coach key process owners as they implement Lean principles within their processes
Foster a culture of empowering team members to solve their own problems
Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends.
Influence the development of strategy for QRR, policy formulation along with project management and execution
Be the change agent for QRR by being influential with senior leaders to enlist the support needed to drive change
May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or 8 + years’ experience in Lean and/or Medical Device Quality Systems (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 10 + years of experience Lean and/or Medical Device Quality Systems)
5 + years of Lean/CAPA/TPS or other continuous improvement discipline leading and driving change
