Job Description Summary

Production sourcing role, supporting the Magnetic Resonance business. Lead strategic and operational sourcing initiatives and activities to achieve business priorities while ensuring internal customer satisfaction. In-depth understanding of key business drivers and sourcing best practices. Ability to work within a matrixed team and integrates with other functional disciplines, solving complex problems to achieve best outcome for GE Healthcare.

Job Description

Strong communication and project management skills. Communication with colleagues and the business about sourcing activities and services. Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.

Impacts projects, processes and procedures in own field. The role operates with some autonomy, but is focused on execution of activities/provision of advice within an enabling discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Activities require professional judgment, but may require more senior levels of guidance.

Utilizes technical expertise and judgement to solve problems. Leverages sourcing skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Operations related field.

2. Computer proficiency

3. Excellent Interpersonal Skills

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years of commercial sourcing experience.

2. Excellent communication skills and analytical skills with the ability to manage and develop supplier relationships

3. Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments

4. Experience implementing a compliant supply chain
