Job Description Summary

As the Product Sales Director, Life Care Solutions (LCS) Patient Monitoring, you will own and drive the sales strategy for a new Patient Monitoring solution.

We are looking for experience in software sales in the healthcare industry. Customer facing position responsible for identifying target customers, owning the sales process and winning business. Owns/influences commercial business operating guidelines. There is autonomy within the role to enter into/execute Commercial arrangements. High levels of Commercial judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.

Job Description


  • Developing commercial expertise across the Portrait product lines, assigned markets, sales processes, and customer groups. Ensures delivery across large and/or diverse sales territories.

  • Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.

  • Leads others to find creative solutions to address complex projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.

  • Meet or exceed the sales quota set

  • Plan and allocate time and resources to ensure sales objectives will meet company’s overall business plans

  • Actively prospect new clients through cold-calls, industry referrals, networking, online searches, industry magazine lists, etc.

  • Develop and maintain existing relationships with prospective and current clients, managing existing accounts and following up on leads regularly

  • Develop and execute strategies for closing deals to reach sales targets

  • Work remotely from your home office

  • Travel to meet customers or prospective clients on a regular basis (30-40% travel)

  • Work diligently to ensure sales pipeline is being continuously developed, with timely and accurate updates, to ensure revenue growth

  • May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates complex messages and negotiates mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view. Influences peers to take action and may negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with healthcare stakeholders within hospital, physician practice and account service lines in order to identify qualified leads, grow market share and increase revenue, and reduce customer attrition

  • Deliver on quarterly & annual orders and revenue sales targets

  • Collaborate with the account community team to support co-developed negotiation strategies.


  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of clinical or selling experience in Patient Monitoring, SaaS, or Healthcare IT

  • Experience with sales into the C-suite/senior client leaders and multiple stakeholder decisions

  • Ability to create and effectively communicate healthcare software value proposition

  • History of driving double-digit topline growth

  • Proven track record of engaging with customers to drive retention and expansion

  • Open, engaging, action-oriented sales professional who inspires and holds others accountable

  • Partnership orientation with a history of working across business functions

  • Experience executing strategic go-to-market operations, processes, and systems

  • Experience utilizing sales automation tools and strategies to drive adoption and track progress based on outputs

  • Effective communicator with the ability to articulate a clear vision and value proposition to potential customers, partners, and sales team

  • Ability to provide thoughtful and constructive feedback

  • Strong executive presence with history of building effective and strong internal and external partnerships

  • Self-motivated, high energy, driven, and confident with the ability to establish instant credibility and rapport with stakeholders, customers, and his/her team
