The Platforms & Solutions Finance Analyst is responsible for providing Financial Planning & Analysis leadership for the Platforms, Care Pathways & Imaging Marketing portfolios within the Imaging Strategic Business Unit. The Finance Analyst will also serve as the Research & Development Analyst looking across the portfolio for standardization, consolidation & analytics. This role will directly support the Platforms & Solutions Chief Financial Officer and will help drive synergies across orgs within scope of the Imaging Strategic Business Units.

Roles and Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis Lead for the Platforms, Care Pathways & Imaging Marketing portfolios within the Imaging Strategic Business Unit

Research & Development Analyst looking across the portfolio for standardization, consolidation of financial spend & analytics to drive operating results

Lead for reporting & analyzing Headcount tied to Compensation & Benefits & Contractors tied to Purchase Services spend ensuring solid collaboration & alignment with operating teams, HR and finance.

Financial Planning & Analysis Lead for loading Operating Plan in Hyperion, Portfolio & Program Management load for Research & Development spend and consolidation of business cases for New Product Introductions across the portfolio

Lead for Plan & Equipment reporting, estimation, tracking projects and Return on Investment supported by appropriate analytics

Provide finance leadership in delivering on quarterly financial targets and estimates, building annual operating plans/forecasts, and developing multi-year financial outlooks for the teams supported aligned to strategic plans

Drive controllership throughout operating team, ensure SOX compliance of assigned cycles, and support external financial audits for the business where required.

Ensure integrity is upheld throughout all processes, policies and practices, by ensuring appropriate communication, training and prioritization of related activities.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration and 6 years financial work experience

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and drive change while working across all levels, functions, and regions

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear/concise manner; demonstrated experience in developing and delivering presentations and memoranda to senior executives.

Demonstrated ability to lead and clearly communicate (written, verbal) in a global team environment Strong critical thinking skills and ability to add financial expertise and strategic value to operating teams

Experience with financial systems/applications, strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation

Desired Characteristics

Graduate of GE's Financial Management Program (FMP) or Corporate Audit Staff (CAS); or graduate of other financial leadership programs

Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six Sigma

Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change

Clear thinking/problem solving: successfully led projects/process improvements within operations/finance functions involving process improvements

Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work and collaborate in global, ambiguous situations

Integrity: accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions and when dealing with others

Confidence/Assertiveness: strong influencing skills across business functions

Experience working in a matrixed environment

Strong knowledge of GE Healthcare financial, supply chain and commercial operating systems

Experience / demonstrated expertise in manufacturing and supply chain finance / accounting

The salary range for this position is $92,800-$139,200. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus. Available benefits include health, welfare, retirement and paid leave.
