General Electric NPI Project Director in Waukesha, Wisconsin
This position is responsible for collaborating with and coaching program management and the business’s functions to drive and continuously improve NPI product development. It will focus on high-profile projects & metrics that impact business outcomes and customer experiences. It will partner cross-functionally and between modalities to create enterprise solutions that will be adopted/managed long-term.
•Helps business assess the NPI Leading Indicators and provides actions to improve.
•Drives and is accountable for NPI and Operational Excellence high-profile projects through rigorous and effective project scoping, cost/benefit analysis, solution development/piloting, and control plan formulation.
•Clearly communicates status, issues, risks, plans, etc. to senior management
•Manages activities of cross-functional teams to support and deliver solutions
•Maintains positive working relationships with peers, quality and modality leaders, and functional leaders to seamlessly integrate actions into the overall NPI Excellence strategy.
•Facilitates cross-functional integration to progress business process maturity roadmaps.
•Captures recommended practices for the PRD portal.
•Bachelor’s degree (or high school diploma/GED plus 4 years working experience and understanding of product development, manufacturing, quality control and servicing in a medical device environment).
•7 years of relevant work experience
•Demonstrated process improvement experience, knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies & in depth understanding of related processes.
•Prior project management experience with large-scale programs that cross multiple functions and process areas
•Demonstrated effective interpersonal, teamwork, networking skills, collaboration, negotiation & conflict resolution skills; ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization.
•Prior experience as a Program Manager or Lead Systems Designer
•Proficient in the PRD process
•Influential leader – able to work cross-functionally and drive wins for the business

•Analytic, creative and business focused problem solver
•Demonstrated experience with regulations in the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industries
•Strong organizational skills
•Demonstrated knowledge of Total Quality Management System tools

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate effectively in English
