Job Description Summary

Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules. Plan and schedule Review and standardize the flow of materials related data (from suppliers and also within departments) according to Master Data standards. Review and optimize the planning and scheduling of material procurement. Assist in the implementation of planning tools and materials management best practices. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines.

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop a basic understanding of key business drivers; using these to complete standard work tasks to include... (running reports, updating data fields, contacting and following up regarding pending changes, documenting change impacts)

Manage master planning data, material processes and systems data, standardize and update production item attributes to facilitate purchasing.

Resolve potential planning and execution issues through the analysis of key data points and summarize impacts for review and implementation.

Ensure operational alignment with production plan and key performance indicators. Helping to optimize inventory and on-time delivery through process improvements.

Complete limited purchasing responsibilities for newly integrated internal organizations to support transition activities.

Assist in deployment of planning tools and best practices to sites throughout the business.

Respond to site requests for support and assistance in root causing errors and supporting request for data extract and reporting.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in: Manufacturing / Data Analytics / Procurement.

Desired Characteristics

Strong oral and written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

Ability to navigate Material Resource Planning systems (Oracle Suite)

An understanding of how to segment, manipulate, and organize large data sets.

Ability to clearly document, plan, and execute given tasks in an organized fashion.

Good understanding of how to work independently to complete tasks and to integrate with other teams globally to contribute to the business needs.
