Job Description Summary

The Lead Service Integrator (LSI) ensures delivery of service product features, training, global parts availability, and service process validation for Premium CT product lines. The Lead Service Systems Integrator has exposure to the entire system, communicates across all functions and is involved in the full life cycle of the product from definition to installed base.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The LSI is accountable for driving quality objectives, service deliverables on time, service team execution, communicating program status and escalating issues when appropriate

  • The LSI may be asked the coordinate the work of other service engineers, such as creating work breakdown structures, product plans and staffing/resourcing plans, service verification and validation, and managing those project plans through the entire development process

  • Participate and represent service in the NPI core team

  • Leverages knowledge in advanced aspects of technical/functional areas and applies technical theory and practical experience with input from relevant functional areas to solve complex problems

  • Works closely with all cross-functional groups in delivering effective new product development process results

  • Leads cross-functional service activities for software and/or hardware programs

  • Drives product and subsystem requirements related to serviceability and diagnosis and ensures they are met

  • Ensuring compliance with Design History File (DHF) and other QMS requirements for service related activities

  • Sets Field Replacement Unit (FRU) strategies and interfacing with external organizations such as Global Parts & Repair Solutions (GPRS) and Service Operations

  • Works independently and possesses a level of functional expertise necessary to influence and execute technical and project delivery execution

  • Works with the online center, field engineers, customers and/or program leadership to insure smooth program delivery, training, communication, etc

  • Managing quality objectives, regulatory requirements, schedules, and program risks and making decisions based on business and service objectives

  • Engages with business team to support IB issues as they arise

Qualifications

  • BS Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering or equivalent (defined as a High School Diploma/GED and 4 years relevant work experience)

  • 4 years relevant project leadership and planning experience

  • Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional project teams and an ability to drive project design plans to completion

  • Familiarity with ISO, FDA and other regulatory standards

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience working in a Service or Systems Engineering team.

  • Hands-on approach with regards to installations, upgrades and repairs

  • General NPI project leadership skills

  • Design For Reliability (DFR) or Design For Service (DFS) experience

  • Experience with conflict resolution

  • 7 years of relevant project leadership experience

  • Experience with entire NPI cycle of GEHC products

  • Project management certification
