Job Description Summary
The Global Product Manager, Ultra-premium CT, is responsible for overall success of $500M+ ultra-premium CT business (Revolution CT and Apex family), by defining the overall product strategy and roadmap, identifying, prioritizing and realizing new product opportunities and existing product enhancement opportunities, as well as managing the lifecycle of legacy products. The most qualified candidate possesses strong organizational and communication skills and is adept at influencing across a matrixed environment.
Gather voice of customer (VOC), market trends and competitive dynamics to drive product development, create products and features pipeline, and plan individual products/features development
Generate market and user requirements documents, presentations and supporting materials to align all functional groups behind a VOC-driven product development plan
Part of NPI program core team to lead cross-functional program teams (Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, Quality, Sourcing, Integrated Supply Chain, etc.) to create proposals for new product developments, finalize product specifications and drive the product development to the commercial launch.
Work with global product marketing team to develop and execute new product launch cadence and launch plans, including product positioning/messaging, sales and applications specialist training, and marketing campaigns
Work with global service team to manage GE ultra-premium CT installed-base by creating and executing lifecycle strategies for legacy products
Support global sales activities on an as needed basis
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, engineering, or other related fields
7+ years of medical technology product management, product marketing, or program management experience
3+ years of experience in the Computed Tomography industry
MBA or other advanced degree in business, engineering or marketing fields
10+ years of medical technology product management, product marketing, program management, or engineering experience
5+ years of experience in the Computed Tomography industry
Proven experience learning technical products
Demonstrated experience creating, implementing, and managing multiple projects
Able to travel up to 50% of time
