General Electric Quote and Tender Specialist in Warsaw, Poland

Role Summary:

Quote and Tender Specialist is a first level support to operations function, responsible for the identification of tenders, preparation of the tender offers and follow up of the tender processes. The person works in close cooperation with sales and service team, finance and legal team.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assume responsibility for the identification of tenders, preparation of the tender offers and follow up of the tender processes.

  • Validate tender requirements, highlight risks to the commercial team, when it comes to penalties or other aspects of the tender – cooperation with finance and legal team.

  • Comply to company policies and process support to sales team on tendering: information collection, country policy research etc.

  • Prepare and co-ordinate the tender responses in territory and validate the tender documentation.

  • Track market information effectively and provide accurate current and forecasts data using information tools available – collaboration with the service sales team, service center, Equipment sales team.

  • Influence customers to buy services by following a prepared script (while remaining creative and responsive) to give product reference information – telesales.

  • Attracts potential and existing customers by proactively performing calls, being ready to answer customer calls and send marketing information via mail/email to promote and sell service offering.

  • Follow up existing sales leads and opened opportunities to convert it to sales.

  • Close internal collaboration that ensures proper delivery of won/accepted – both tender and standard (not public procurement) offers/quotations.

  • Support Sales Managers with periodic sales performance analysis. Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or higher.

  • Quote & Tender experience on Polish market.

  • Broad and practical knowledge of the local regulations.

  • Proficient in use of Microsoft office with speed and accuracy.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Ability to work under pressure against tight deadlines, getting work right first time.

  • High level of telephone and customer care skills.

  • Time Management skills with the ability to work with accuracy and minimum of supervision.

  • Fluent English and Polish languages.

  • Working experience in commercial field.
