Essential Responsibilities:

The Catalyst GGT Module Leader will develop practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals. You will be responsible to develop and execute objectives for self and others and have the ability to affect short-term and some long-term business goals.

The Catalyst GGT Module Leader is accountable for: (i) the coordination and development of the GGT Module in strong collaboration with global sites and connection to Systems team in order to meet overall product and business requirements, (ii) at module and components level for: module level integration and components design definition, manufacturing support & cost out, module and component testing, certification deliverables, development problems resolution, EM/CMM and repairs release, field issues resolution.

In this role she/he:

  • manages complex issues within functional areas of expertise, leads short/medium term activities and is involved in long-term planning and contributes to the overall product strategy.

  • Maintains and adapt the GGT program plan to align with the engine program schedule, resource schedules, and other program constraints

  • Performs technical planning, components integration, verification and validation, cost and risk for the whole module.

  • Facilitates and drive clear communication of GGT technical issues to Systems Tech Review, certification issues to Certification Review Board (CRB) and program issues to Program Control Board (PCB).

  • Interfaces with all involved engineering disciplines and functions ensuring alignment to quality, cost and schedule targets.

  • Develops, review and verify quality of engineering documents.

  • Collaborates with requirements leader to develop and flow relevant requirements that result in meeting all product-level and certification requirements.

  • Provide technical and program leadership to other personnel and assigned teams; mentor others in the organization and guide challenging decisions.

  • Support other engineering functions, particularly engine Systems, the Certification Office, Sourcing, Quality, and Manufacturing Programs.

  • Negotiate functional requirements and provide a recommended approach to meeting the technical and program requirements when shortfalls arise.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • This role requires significant experience in the Engineering/Technology, knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor or Master's degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering.

  • Experience in product development of engine systems or modules preferably in New Product Introduction programs

  • Knowledge of turbines technical requirements, design solutions and technologies

  • Clear thinking and diligent approach

  • English fluent language knowledge, both written and oral

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • EU work permit

  • Experience in systems engineering and project management

  • Capability to work in multicultural environment.

  • Previous experience on turbines engineering on NPI or LCE will be considered as a plus.

  • Polish fluent language knowledge, both written and oral, will be considered as a plus.
