General Electric Finance Lead (Pipeline building for Potential Role) in Thailand

Job Description Summary

Role Summary

This role reports to the Sub-Region Senior Finance Manager and will be responsible for managing all financial aspects starting from commercial execution phrase to financial planning, reporting and other finance related initiatives. In this role, you will be partnering with multiple key stakeholders from Commercial & Operations, Operational Excellence and Finance Leaders to develop business strategies and deliver financial commitments.

Job Description


  • Partner with Commercial team on deal/contract executions. Provide risk assessment and advices from contract reviews (T&C, payment term, local requirements, risk exposure, etc.)

  • Business partner to Service Directors to drive business initiatives, growth, profitability, cost optimization and cash generation

  • Prepare and maintain financial forecast process such as quarterly pacing and annual budget planning. Work closely with FP&A team on deal tracking and escalations

  • Analysis of fulfillment / Operations data to create detailed consolidated analysis reporting for management review

  • Partner with Operations and COE teams to optimize billing, maximize collections, and manage past due risks

  • Ensure Orders and Revenue recognition as well as Cash are compliant with financial accounting standards

  • Manage country financial accounting for different type of contracts including transactional orders and long term agreements

  • Drive controllership compliance and ensure appropriate reporting principles, policies & metrics are being followed

  • Lead process improvements and drive simplification projects. Leverage tax, commercial finance and train contract managers as applicable

  • Support internal and external audits (statutory and tax)


  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance or related fields with minimum 5 years of Finance experience (preferably in M&C) with some background in Commercial Finance, FP&A and US GAAP accounting

  • Strong accounting, analytical and problem-solving skills with hand-on attitude, resilience and willingness to learn

  • Critical thinking and attention to details

  • Strong communication and ability to work in cross functional and virtual environments

  • ERP experience- PowerMax/SAP and/or Oracle

  • Fluent verbal and written communications in English
