General Electric REGION LOGISTICS LEADER in Poland
It is required to work closely with multiple stakeholders across regions and functions and P&L to support GE Healthcare client's growth strategy, to own the upstream-spectrum of logistics operations management related to the client transportation and local stocks operations to ensure GE meets contractual commitments to the client.
Ensure internal and the client's needs are fulfilled with the highest quality and cost efficient method, in compliance to company policy, international trade and regulations.
Focus Areas are:
Provide full visibility for client “Ontime-Delivery” (delivery date < request date). This requires the creation of a customer tailored reporting capturing time to deliver from warehouses, FSE-Stock-Transfer and deliveries from the local stocks. Lead continuous improvement activities to optimize Ontime Delivery in a cost effective way within the EMEA transportation framework. Own the upstream part of the logistics operation and will collaborate closely with the Regional Service Team handling the downstream part of it
In order to drive the client's local stocks effectiveness, review the local stocks utilization with the Service Delivery Team. He/she will follow up on local stocks Parts unavailability with the GSPO Fulfilment and Inventory team. To ensure information is shared with the client Stakeholders proactively. Further he/she will liase “the client Director of Service” with GSPO Fulfilment and Inventory team on a frequent base to ensure IB dynamics will be anticipated into the local stocks composition. He/She will coordinate local stocks openings/closures in accordance to the client's need and ensure local stocks will be provided with equivalent guidelines/SOPs and transact accordingly.
Take a lead and act as a focal point for all client-related Spare Parts escalations. This includes communication and follow up with GSPO Customer Solutions Team, the client's Director of Service and Service-Delivery Team to drive resolution, provide status updates as a base for highest standard of Parts related Customer Care.
Initiate the client's local stocks-Specific SOPs,. Any cleitn'sspecific SOP must comply with GEHC comply to Quality and Regulatory standards and Region Regulations such as storage and handling of Hazardous Materials. Further all international trade regulations and GE framework for customs processes need to be respected. As far as SOPs will affect the cost structure he/she needs to obtain cost-owner approval upfront.
Host/conduct a monthly Report out to client-Service-Stakeholders and EMEA GSPO Management. Qualifications/Requirements:
Siginificant experience working in Service-Logistics
Proven Customer Service and Service Logistics acumen, including demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, motivate, influence, solve complex problems, and drive change at all levels of organization.
Ability to synergize cross-function activity including Call-Centre team to optimally serve end-customers
Able to strategize and influence senior management, while at the same time be able to engage, lead and coach working level staff to achieve the deliverables
Ability to influence cost effective solution in materials shipping involving all modes of transportation
Working knowledge of Siebel/ Oracle ERP/ WMS and Transport Management System
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, international business or related disciplines.Professional competencies
