Role Summary:

GE Healthcare Partners are looking for the right candidates to expand our team of healthcare consultants in Ireland. This will provide you with the opportunity to develop your consultancy skills alongside a world class team whilst building upon your knowledge of healthcare to implement solutions to improve patient safety, operational, financial or clinical outcomes within healthcare provider institutions.

Essential Responsibilities:

The assignments you work on will play to your strengths in:

  • Independently collecting, validating, analysing and synthesizing data to support assignment objectives

  • Planning and completing assigned work that is high quality, on time and within budget

  • Preparing and delivering succinct and insightful executive level presentations

  • Proactively identifying client needs and assist in developing solutions by:

  • Engaging with healthcare staff at all levels to understand their day to day work, and develop relationships which support successful change

  • Working side by side with client teams to understand and improve systems and processes

  • Acting as both a coach and cheerleader for improvement and change.

  • Facilitating effective, cross functional working sessions with clients and stakeholders

  • Establishing relationships with all levels of client managers (both clinical and non-clinical)

  • Understanding and applying the principles of change management to support implementation and system-wide transformation

  • Remaining up-to-date on the market place, understanding what the trends are in healthcare so you can advise clients of best practice Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Ability to travel and work away from home

  • Experience in either advisory services, consulting, performance improvement in healthcare setting or equivalent knowledge and experience

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word

  • Awareness and understanding of the healthcare industry and major trends Desired Characteristics: You may also demonstrate the following characteristics:

  • Multi-lingual especially Arabic, French, German

  • Educated to Degree (or equivalent) level in, but not limited to, science, engineering, logistics, finance, IT, management or economics

  • Educated to Masters level (or equivalent) in, but not limited to, operational research, project management, IT or operations improvement (e.g. Lean)

  • Data mining and analytical skills

  • Driving change using change management tools

  • Experience in Lean and/or Six Sigma tools or other quality improvement methodologies e.g. Theory of Constraints

  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Business acumen

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to accomplish large volumes of high quality work under pressure

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and adjust work and communications styles based on situational need

  • Aptitude for critical thinking to include the evaluation of ideas and synthesizing of information Locations: Ireland
