General Electric Test Project Leader in Finland

Job Description Summary

We are looking for fixed term maternity leave replacement Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Test Team Project leader. This fixed term position is approximately 1 year. As a AME Test Project Leader, you’ll coordinate outsourced PWA tester development projects. You will work with global 3rd party suppliers and GE Healthcare program teams throughout the tester development projects starting from Request for Quote to installation and qualification at EMS production sites.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report project status

  • Facilitate regular operating mechanisms and technical discussions with 3rd party suppliers and GE Healthcare engineering teams

  • Support 3rd party suppliers during design qualification activities.

Qualifications and experience

  • A diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electromechanics or Biomedical Engineering Technology, or solid experience as Tester development

  • Proven project management experience & skills

  • Able to communicate and work well with global teams

Desired Characteristic

  • Familiarity with Six Sigma methodology and tools including Gage R&R

  • Have experience at electronics tester development and/or familiarity with National Instruments Teststand & Labview

  • The ability to manage other people and resources
