General Electric Summer Intern - Order Fulfillment Specialist in Finland
Job Description Summary
The Order Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for all aspects of daily order fulfillment and its communication to the regions. The Order fulfillment specialist is working with the region order management teams and the warehouse to provide availability information and to ensure that the orders are shipped on time. The Order fulfillment specialist is also supporting solving the material incoming issues.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
ERP system transactions: reservations and pick-releases
Communication by MyO system, and email (global stakeholders)
Co-operation with external service provider, and materials planning team
Planning and fulfillment team daily and weekly std work
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s student in the field of Logistics, or from suitable field of Engineering or Economics
Fluent written and spoken English
Computer proficiency (MS-Office, ERP system)
EU work permit
Ability to work remotely from the home office (GE provides tools)
Desired Characteristics:
Oracle knowledge and experience (or other ERP system)
Very active and accurate working style
Problem solving skills
