General Electric Summer Intern, EHS in Finland
Job Description Summary
GE Healthcare, a leading global health technology provider, has strong presence in Helsinki. In the Vallila district, we are 700+ people from over 25 countries, helping healthcare providers improve patient care.
We are looking for a EHS Summer Intern. In this role you will be a part of our small but efficient EHS team. As our summer intern you will learn about site occupational health and safety, chemical management and environmental aspects.
As a part of this team you will do active co-operation with different GE functions such as manufacturing, engineering, management and facility.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
In this role you will, e.g.:
Evaluate site EHS conditions
Provide EHS guidance to employees and support managers in EHS related matters
Follow-up on EHS actions and training completion
Participate in internal EHS communication (for example newsletters, events)
Manage EHS data (for example waste and energy data)
Qualifications/Requirements
Studying for Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in relevant field
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English
EU work permit
Desired Characteristics
