Job Description Summary
Are you already an experienced hardware or mechanics designer having multiple products development experience and ready to move on to project management profession? As a Project Leader you will be managing projects on technology components development and on component integration to both new patient monitors products and to existing product platforms.

Project management including leading the project team, planning development schedules, reporting progress metrics and being accountable to actual deliverables.
Planning of device experiment iterations following cycle of build/make/learn iterating toward production transfer and manufacturing.
Managing both technical and operative risk assessment and mitigation of a product.
Driving collaboration with other GE teams and with external partners.
Managing component or product lifecycle from concept development to mass production.
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience in designing and/or managing several products from concepting to mass product release.
Capability to do longer term plans and development stories until the end of project, following product development processes in line with the nature of physical device development with strong dependences and long lead times.
Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
EU work permit.
Knowledge on Lean R&D and on Scrum methodologies.
Experience on designing small portable wireless body worn products.
Subject matter expertise on hardware, mechanics, wireless, radio frequencies or manufacturing.
Experience on design for long product lifecycle and maintenance in regulated industry.
Good networking skills and knowledge on embedded Software.
Good documentation and presentation skills.
