General Electric RVI Sales Manager – Germany (f/m) in Germany

Role Summary:

As a core technology for our Inspection Technologies, RVI Europe is leading the Remote Visual Market in Europe and represents currently a volume of 40MM with an aggressive growth target. The RVI Sales Manager role consists of selling the RVI portfolio (Products, Software and Services) in a dedicated Sales territory in Germany.

Essential Responsibilities:

The function interfaces with all functional teams in Europe which support the Sales activities (Customer Care, In-House repair, Field Service, Rental, Supply Chain…) and in the USA with the Product Management team.

  • Sell our complete portfolio in the assigned territory (VideoProbe – Software – Advanced Inspection Services) and in accordance with the RVI P&L orientations

  • Develop a Plan and a Strategy to ensure the development of our RVI sales in the assigned territory

  • Serve appropriately our Customers base in the designed territory

  • Define and Execute the Regional RVI strategy in collaboration with the Regional Sales Leader

  • Define Actions and Initiatives to drive quarterly results

  • Build a visible Opportunities Funnel across the assigned territory – using BHGE tools provided

  • Partner with the Key Accounts Team to focus on our Strategic Accounts

  • Partner closely with the regional Customer Care organization to align our Inquiry To Order & Order To Remittance processes to our customer requirements

  • Stay current on important trends

  • Gather and Report VOC

  • Work and partner with our Product Management and Marketing teams

  • Leverage Opportunities/Initiatives with other BHGE Measurement & Controls Businesses by identifying short and long-term growth opportunities

  • Help to identify and support new target customers and increase sales within new and existing accounts

  • Build and Manage the Business with a Compliance culture with constant Health, Environment and Safety engagement

  • Key metrics: Orders, Sales, Contribution Margin, Price, Net Promoter Score


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business

  • Fluent English required

  • Proved commercial experience

  • Knowledge in RVI Products/Markets/Verticals/Applications

  • Able to establish yourself in front of a Customer and/or a Sales organization as a BHGE Sales

  • Manager and build relations on this basis
