General Electric Lead Customer Order & Fulfillment Specialist in United Arab Emirates
Job Description Summary
Responsible for customer account relationships and overall account management for used serviceable aircraft engine materials (USM); including, facilitating transactions to deliver replacement/repair parts and equipment as part of service agreements or orders. Includes activities such as processing transactions, managing processes, material management, site operations, or warehouse logistics & shipping, sometimes in a shop structure. Includes craft & non craft labor, as well as manager roles responsible solely for these activities. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgement may be required but this is typically with guidance.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:-
Facilitate order management from quote to Invoice. Process order intake, input into internal systems, shipment processing, invoicing, and collections.
Manage multiple customer accounts while maintaining strong customer relationships and working proactively to execute to customer demands.
Identify new sales opportunities through understanding customer dynamics and driving high Quote to Sale conversion rate
Execute to fulfillment to meet customer contract requirements
Support Forecasting teams with customer profile information on supply demands and requirements, using submitted customer forecasts, and communicating Supply/Demand changes and/or specific customer feedback and needs.
Communicate and discuss Used Material attributes and trace documentation to customers and suppliers to resolve issues and close deals.
Understanding of USM trace in order make decisions and source materials on the open market.
Communicate internally to the business account performances and escalate issues as necessary
Execute policy/strategy to business targets.
In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the overall business.
Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
Perform as both a team and individual contributor.
Review and explain technical documents to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements for the purchase & sale of USM materials.
Facilitate business needs for new Customer set ups and credit approvals
Required Qualifications
This role requires advanced experience in Customer Order and Fulfillment.
Strong familiarization with Used Serviceable Material and the general aviation market
Experience with all or some of these GE products; CF6, CF34, GE90, & GEnx
Familiarity of EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) and APAC (Asia Pacific) regional airlines and MRO’s
Knowledge of basic contract language and execution
Experience with CSA Contract language and financial execution
Experience with aviation technical documentation requirements
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Basic Financial Acumen required
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to work and make decisions independently
Desired Characteristics
Experience with Oracle based ERP System encouraged
Inventory Management experience
Experience with LEAN principles
Strong team player
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute processes
Experience with Microsoft Applications; Excel, PowerPoint
