Job Description Summary
Support the Plant Engineering Leader in leading and executing projects which are having significant business impact, containing but not limited to the following: tools & supply projects, Cost out projects, layout reorganization, building/reallocating work cells.
Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
Identify and lead cost out projects, implement productivity and technology improvement projects, testing of new technologies to improve mfg. processes and respect objectives
Identify and lead tools & supply project to improve productivity and reduce cost
Participate in LEAN initiatives, lead shopfloor reorganization and new lean line construction projects
Lead new machine selection, acquisition and installation activity
Support NPI projects, daily routines
Involve direct and indirect employees into active participation with supporting costout and productivity projects
Communicate and execute company goals, policies and procedures in the workplace.
Manage the daily execution of short/long term projects to ensure those are getting completed with no risks to safety, quality, on-time delivery and efficiency and stays within the approved budget
Analyze the risks to safety, quality, on-time delivery and efficiency and propose improvement actions and execute them
Bring new ideas and positive support to the current processes.
Support the execution of the viable operator suggestions (Kaizen ideas)
Participate in EHS related actions to improve safety in own area, and warn the violators
Collect and evaluate requests, equipment related improvement opportunities. Manage ordering, Support implementation
Participates in Indirect material specifications / tests
Active participation on all training
Active participation on mandatory EHS trainings and events.
Meet goals and objectives of all Engineering related KPIs, follow up results periodically

Lead improvements and follow Lean principles
Realize the Site Lean implementation plan according to the company Lean strategy
Follow the Documented Procedures, EHS, Quality requirements
Requirements:
University degree (BSc or MSc) preferably mechanical
Proven history of excellent project management
Familiar with mechanical and electrical system of industrial equipment.
Preferably strong manufacturing/production experience
Strong ability to work/lead in a matrix environment
Experience in mechanical industry (heavy industry ideally)
Fluent in Hungarian & English
Competencies:
Excellent communication and presentation skills in Hungarian,
Strong understanding of work-in-process scheduling, work order planning, quality control and material management concepts and cost control
Good problem-solving ability,
Team player attitude,
Contemporary industry knowledge
Strong PC skills
Experience in construction works/layout reorganization projects
Experience in supplier management
EHS and quality mindset
Knowledge of modern quality/productivity tools (LEAN, Six Sigma, problem solving) is an advantage
Team player behavior, open minded and energetic personality
Good problem solver
Able to work with office automation (MS Office) and AutoCAD, CNC and ERP software knowledge is an advantage
