Job Description Summary
Manage resources (equipment and personnel, will be responsible for 80-100 employees in the production cell) and activities required for the manufacturing operations to obtain maximum efficiency and meet performance objectives of the Hot Gas Path Nozzle. Maintains authority over budget and scheduling. Ownership of EHS, quality, manufacturing engineering, Lean, production control and operations.
Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for leading the day-to-day activities of the cell with around 80-100 workers.
Ensure that all manufacturing processes are executed efficiently, safely, in good quality and in time.
Responsible for creating and maintaining a productive work environment, improving employee satisfaction
Responsible for the development of his subordinates
Detail / coordinate capacity & capability needs associated with the volume.
Initiate and lead projects to improve deliverables.
Drive the productivity improvements in the line with the support of Lean and engineering department.
Promotion of innovation and improvements to increase safety, quality, production efficiency and to reduce cycles. Implement Lean initiative and establish the culture of 5S and Kaizen through Employee suggestions.
Control of inventory level and continuous improvement of turnover.
Responsible for the cost controlling of the line.
Communicate and execute company goals, policies, and procedures in the workplace.
Training, briefing and monitoring of compliance with all EHS policies and continuous improvement of these standards.
Work together with other business teams to ensure competitiveness, by understanding processes and implementing best practices.
University/College degree (Preferably in Engineering, Management or Business Administration) or equivalent knowledge or experience
Significant experience in operational leadership
Fluent English and Hungarian
Strong understanding of machining and fabrication / assembly activities. Ideally in high tech materials
Ability to lead a results-oriented team with the objective to continually improve economical and qualitative standards and processes.
