General Electric Production Control Leader in Veresegyhaz, Hungary

Job Description Summary

The Production Control Leader will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for production control across a specific focus area within the Veresegyhaz materials team. In this role, you will own fulfillment for your focus area and the related KPIs. You will utilize your experience and expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and drive improvements to tools and processes pertaining to production control.

Job Description


  • Execute the master production plan, manage material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs. Optimize inventory and process improvements.

  • Lead the cross-functional teams in executing the master production schedule in a way that meets customer needs, business goals, and maximizes supply chain velocity.

  • Lead all scheduling and processes to ensure customer demands are met on time.

  • Develop and drive schedules, recovery plans, and prioritizations across your focus area to ensure customer fulfillment while maximizing business impact.

  • Develop and implement a common set of KPIs, tools and practices to drive accountability across all functions of the organization.

  • Drive a culture of rigor around planning and scheduling processes and execution across the supply chain network to achieve 100% On Time Delivery.

  • Work closely with the operations and finance teams to provide periodic fulfillment estimates to the business.

  • Act as the single point of contact for cross functional organization especially project management as well as leadership for Gas Turbine spare parts execution within Veresegyhaz factory.

  • Work collaboratively with other leaders to effectively meet Materials Team goals and objectives. Including Gas SIOP leaders, Inventory leader, Materials Managers, Operations Leaders, LCOE, etc.

  • Facilitate positive communication rhythms with key stakeholders such as Operations Leaders and Material Managers by participating in initiatives to align materials management strategies with business goals and objectives.


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge or experience

  • Proven materials, planning and scheduling, or inventory experience

  • English and Hungarian language knowledge

  • Knowledge of the manufacturing process and ERP functions

  • Familiarity with materials management disciplines including production and inventory control
