The plant has undergone highly significant development since its establishment 20 years ago and become one of the leading composite repair centers in the GE network today.

We are looking to hire a Operations Quality Team Leader to our rapidly growing repair shop at GE Aviation Hungary. Due to the ongoing development of the shop, there is the opportunity for you to become involved and support and help drive these changes.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and improve various quality operation activities such as Calibration Lab, Chemical Lab and Metallurgical Lab.

The candidate will also be responsible to manage and improve daily operation quality issues, and ensure we comply with Aviation standards and regulations.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead Calibration Lab, Chemical Lab, Metallurgical Lab teams through Daily management standard work

  • Lead and drive effective RCCA on shop related quality issues (Customer Disruption, Shop Loss, Rework)

  • Support NPI (New Product Introduction) review and approval process from quality perspectives

  • Support Internal / External audit activities and closure of audit findings

  • Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking to solve issues.

  • Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

  • Minimum of 3 years of Quality or Operation experience

  • Qualified auditor with auditing experience

  • In depth understanding of Quality Management System
